Molly Atkinson

Moms in Business Unite Director of Sales

Molly Atkinson is a budget-driven leader with nine years of progressive fundraising experience. Accomplished in partner stewardship, board development, major donors and event-based fundraising, her passion for creating a better world is reflected in her work.

Raised on the north coast of California, Molly attended Humboldt State University, where she earned her B.A. in speech communications. While working as Public Service Director for several radio stations, she realized she was passionate about working with nonprofits; in 2001, she moved to Sacramento and began working in that field.

Molly has honed her skills through both paid and volunteer positions, working with Child Abuse Prevention Counsel, Earth Day Ohio, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Special Olympics, and Sutter Memorial Hospital.

Recently married, Molly enjoys exploring San Diego and Southern California with her husband, David.  She enjoys international travel and trying different cuisines, and she’s also an award-winning fudge maker.
