Kyoko Tanaka
Moms in Business Unite Director of Graphic Design
Kyoko Tanaka is an award-winning San Diego-based graphic designer specializing in image building for organizations and businesses. She’s committed to the creation of innovative, effective design as well as the flexibility required by urgent deadlines, budget realities, and fluctuating client needs. Whether designing a logo or a web site, Kyoko communicates closely with clients to ensure a dynamic and satisfying result.
Kyoko’s design experience is broad and varied and has included positions in Tokyo, New York City, and Boston. She moved to San Diego and started Tanaka Graphics in 2004. She has established relationships with web designers, copywriters, printers, email marketers and photographers who are knowledgeable in their field with years of experience. This team approach has been helping a number of small business owners and solo practitioners in San Diego. Because she is a small business owner herself, she understands what it takes to run a business. Unlike large companies, working with Kyoko cuts out the stress of working with any middlemen; she handles communication with her resources for clients. Kyoko is also a mother of two children. She lives in San Diego with her family and a dog, Cinnamon.
In addition to her other responsibilities, Kyoko contributes to training and supporting women business owners by serving as the Graphic Design Director for Moms in Business Unite Conference.
