Vision

Are you a women business owner with a stellar invention? Moms in Business Unite is inviting 5-10 San Diego women inventors to showcase their "new" product or service. We will give you an opportunity to showcase your idea and then allow conference attendees to select the "best" new product of the year. We want to help your dream come true! The winner will be announced in a post conference press release and be featured on the Moms in Business Unite website for a year.

Candidates

Are you a successful women business owner looking to achieve recognition for your invention? Does your invention stand out among the rest? If you meet the following criteria, please apply for the 2010 MIBU Inventor Showcase:

  • You must be a woman inventor
  • You must have recently entered the market with your product/service (anytime after January 1, 2009)
  • You must be located in San Diego county
  • Your invention must offer an innovative product or service that differentiates you from your competitors
  • You must be registered to attend the Moms in Business Unite Conference on September 15, 2010 to be eligible for consideration

Rules

  • Only one submission will be accepted per company
  • Former selected MIBU Inventor Showcase participants are not eligible
  • Each selected inventor must be present and be able to exhibit at the Moms in Business Unite Conference reception on September 15, 2010 at the USD Joan Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice. Award recipient must be present to win.
  • Submission deadline: July 31st, 2010. Late submissions will not be considered.

Benefits

  • The selected inventors will have an exhibit table at the Moms in Business Unite Conference Award/Grant Reception from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at no charge ($300 value). One additional person is invited to help you at your table. Additional guests can purchase an exhibitor pass for $45 per individual.
  • The selected inventors will be able to attend all conference sessions at a 20% discount
  • The selected inventors will be able to purchase an ad in the Conference Resource Guide at a 20% discount

Winner

The winner will be selected by the Conference attendees and announced during the Conference Reception. Additionally, the winner will be announced in a post conference press release and featured on the Moms in Business Unite website for a year.
